We are back with Season 2,
"Walk on Water" edition
It's been a long time coming but this coming February 28, 2026, we are ready to do what we have been commissioned to do: Highlight the intersection of black culture, fashion, and mental health, specifically addressing the silence around eating disorders (ED) in the BIPOC community.
Our goal is to destigmatize ED through powerful fashion, art installations, and an educational paneled breakfast, creating a safe space for dialogue and resource sharing opportunities.
We can't do this without the collaboration and partnership of designers, models, volunteers, media and more. If you desire to come together and be a part of Season 2, please apply now!
As we are closing out the fourth quarter in 2025, we are excited to finally say that under our brand, Elan Model Management, we will present our own fashion week, " The Black Experience Fashion Week": Carolina Edition. We had this vision in 2018, and after 7 years of its initial inception, through the years of adding, deleting and working things out, we are finally ready to release it to the public! With the BEFW, we want to pay homage to the Carolinas and the HUGE contribution it plays in fashion through the most used fabric: COTTON. Did you know there is a famous street named after the first African American cotton mill owner that came from the Carolinas?! The Carolinas is rich with fashion history with celebrity designers, music artists, celebrity makeup artists, etc and we are here to shed light on who we are as a community in the fashion world! Get ready to witness something that hasn't been done until now with our "Battle of the Carolinas!" showcasing some of the best designers from North and South Carolina who will collectively battle to see who is best; South Carolina or North Carolina! Our Celebrity guest judges and your guest will decide!
Educate. Celebrate. Dominate. It's what we do. It's fashion.

On February 26, 2022, Elan Model Management did our first fashion show production, "You are beautifully and wonderfully made fashion show: shedding light on eating disorders." It was a sold out show. Now. We are doing it again, but on a larger scale.
Did you know that over 30 million people suffer with ED (eating disorders) in some form or fashion? For season 2, scheduled during ED week (February 22-28th) we are going to dismantle the disparities of this silent dis ease that continues to affect the fashion community at large.
We are looking for ALL LEVELS of models, volunteers and media. It can't happen without you! Go to our Media, Volunteer and Stylist assistant page to apply!
Producing a large production such as You are beautifully and wonderfully made fashion show takes a financial collective effort from our family, friends, and you, our future partners to make this fashion week the best that Charlotte NC can experience.

Both industries work hand and hand. Getting the right information for either industry is crucial and most people no longer trust the "schools" to provide them what they need to become successful in one or both industries. This is why we are now in the beginning stages of building our membership based Guild community.
